Munday’s artistic journey began in the early 2000s as a teenage graffiti artist, leaving his mark on urban spaces through street art and stickers. A suggestion from a fellow artist led him to experiment with canvas, where he found a new home for his creativity. His street art roots remain integral to his practice today, with spray paint and marker lines infusing his work with raw energy. His work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as The Royal Academy of Arts, The Arnolfini and The Hayward Gallery, and he is frequently invited to paint live at international art fairs and events, including The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam and London Fashion Week. In 2019, he collaborated with IKEA to release a highly detailed coloring poster in his signature style, selling over 30,000 copies worldwide. Kev and Hubert Kalkman organized a solo show which took place in October 2017. Together with sales in the gallery, 20 originals were auctioned through Catawiki. As a result collectors all over the world were engaged in the exhibition. The show was a huge success, selling out completely.
