Kalkman Gallery’s small-scale exhibitions

In the hangout of Hotel The Dutch, Kalkman Gallery will curate micro-exhibitions featuring artists that are exhibited through-out the year in the gallery. These small-scale exhibitions will run fro 8-12 weeks. These will be either solo-shows or group-shows.

KALKMAN RESIDENCY: Lindert Steegen, Transforming Spaces and Places in Nepal

Kalkman Gallery is very happy to announce its first residency program. This will taek place in Nepal, a country where trading in collectibles started for Hubert Kalkman. Now, Kalkman Gallery artist Lindert Steegen has been invited to be the first artist to work in Nepal.

Hubert Kalkman and his partners in Nepal have set-up a route along 4 locations, where Lindert Steegen will be able to carry his artist mission: to transform spaces and places with his murals.

Not only will Lindert be painting murals, Kalkman has also partnered with a carpet tapestry, for whom Lindert has designed a carpet. The carpet will be woven in Phaplu, where Lindert will also spend 5 days on a mural.
